Cash and Carry
Buying is now available
at the Lansing Gift Show.
What
Some of our vendors offer merchandise available in their booths for
immediate sale to take with you from the show. These vendors also
conduct order writing business from their booths as well. Cash & Carry
sales “C & C” is a somewhat newer trend in the wholesale gift show
market. It addresses a need in these ever changing and challenging
economic times in our industry that traditional order placing buying can
not always satisfy.
Why
You asked for it. Buyer feedback has favored of a shift toward C & C.
Benefits include; wholesale pricing on merchandise without minimum
quantity restrictions, an answer to limited “back room” storage at your
business, not having to wait several weeks for delivery, no shipping
charges. You can literally buy one or two of a particular item and carry
it away with you for immediate stock or restock of your shelves.
Gratification is instant!
How
Vendors offering C & C will have a special sign in their booths
designating them so you do not have to ask. These vendors will be
equipped to handle cash and check purchases (some credit card). You take
possession of the item/s immediately and you are then asked to remove
the item/s from the show floor before continuing to shop. Merchandise
may be moved to your vehicle or held by show management to pick up
later. Arrangements can be made to get your vehicle to our loading dock
to facilitate moving larger quantities.

show on a limited basis.
Come
prepared
If you think you may be taking ample advantage of our C & C
opportunities, come prepared to do so. In anticipation of your purchases
have adequate space in your vehicle for the trip home. Bringing a small
folding hand cart may be helpful when loading up. This will keep you
from having to wait for others to become available. If you will be
holding merchandise at our registration area, having extra business
cards to tape to your items will facilitate this system significantly.
The Future
We hope to expand our cash and carry offerings at future Lansing shows.
As more vendors recognize your support of the C & C booths more
selection can be offered at future shows.
Reminder
This special opportunity is available ONLY to our retail customers with
a sales tax ID registered with the show. All purchases must be made only
by the primary wholesale buyer. Buyers are allowed one (1) guest to
accompany them on the show floor.
